lillbet: (HALLOWEEN!)

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, my little Jack'o'lanterns!

Yes, I said I wouldn't- but it's been a long week and today will be a long day, and I need you guys.
I need tricks and treats. GIMME!

I was going to put a sign on my door that said "NO CANDY HERE!" (because I'm going out tonight instead) but then I heard on the news that local police departments are asking registered sex offenders to do the same thing. Um, okay, so... yeah. Not doing that then. O.o Tonight is a big thing is Georgetown. I'm a bit sorry to be missing it, but at the same time, Rob and I are going out for dinner and seeing "Rocknrolla", which got decent reviews and with the weekend ahead I'm quite excited about going chill. Or I'm just all hopped up on the first (decaf) latte I've had in months (Pumpking Spice FTW!).
Hope your day isn't too scary!

Damn RPattz for not spreading his hobo-love far and wide with distraction and gorgeousness for all. DAMN HIM! Must go call his agent and urge him to get into some shenanigans, PRONTO! XD

Sounds like a good list. Yup, being on your ownsome and watching The Grudge is not a good idea. The Ring? Also full of crawlies and not good. The American version is okay though- we have a talent for taking things from other countries and screwing them up by adding too many special effects, sex, and overall cheesiness. And yet, everyone wants to be a star in Hollywood. Very strange. *lol*

I think Rob did his best. He did try and distract me by talking about not being romantic and taking sponge baths, which on a better day would have been all I needed.

However, I am no longer Lady Emo. My plumber just called. He's coming on Wednesday to fit my radiator. This will be the first time I have had heating in my bathroom since I moved in two and a half years ago. My day is now officially made of WIN :D.

If your plumber is named "Joe" and likes John McCain I will laugh myself silly. XD

Heating in the bathroom is WONDERFUL. Especially with winter coming on. Next you'll be posting from the bathtub- no water, just sitting in there enjoying the lovely warmth. *lol*

You know what there needs to be? Halloween pumpkin sparkle text. Only that could properly capture my enthusiasm for heating in my bathroom. No more shivering in the shower. No more putting off getting out. No more trying to put my body lotion on after I've got dressed for fear I might freeze to death doing it the right way round. Hurrah!

DO IT! I WANTS THE PRECIOUS! Ooh, and it should have some ruffly RPattz sex hair at the bottom too! Seriously- who do we know that could make this happen?

No more trying to put my body lotion on after I've got dressed for fear I might freeze to death doing it the right way round.

Seriously? That's... wretched. O.o *lol*

I know, lol. I've spent the last 2 years choosing body products specifically for how fast they dry, lol.

I don't know how to make the sparkle text, or I would be all over that like a rash. I was hoping someone on Twatlight would make some, but alas....

I love this icon. And yours. Is that wrong?

I'm surprised there's nothing here (http://misc.inexistent.org/sparkle/), but I'm sure they're not the only game in town. Hmph. Hell-training starts in 10 minutes or I'd look.

By the way- there was a bit in the paper today about a Japanese guy asking for the right to marry a cartoon character. While we're at it, let's all get engaged to icons. O.o

ETA: (sorry, I don't know why I'm so scattered today- I blame the latte).

YOU SHOULD POST YOUR FINDINGS, BB!

I would totally get engaged to this icon if I could. Assuming non-icon!RPattz wasn't interested, of course.

Should it be a scientific report? So far, the quickest drying is SBC's Vitamin E gel, but that loses marks for not looking very pretty on my bathroom shelf, lol.

Re: I love this icon. And yours. Is that wrong?

[identity profile] lillbet.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 02:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, non-icon RPattz would fly into a jealous rage if he heard that. RAGE, I TELL YOU. O.o

Nah, do it like you would- categories like dry time, color, scent, packaging, and how it feels on. What is SBC?

Weird, I thought I was logged on. This training is horrid. I'd rather be chatting with you, frankly. Can't wait to do it in person! :D

Yay! Me either :D. I can't believe it's only 3 weeks. I keep panicking about all the stuff I still have to organise and buy. Like boots. Currently I don't have any real shoes and stepping on squishy leaves with nearly bare feet is getting a bit too icky and I fear you'll all laugh at me if I'm still wearing my flip-flops in November, lol.

I think SBC stands for Simply Beautiful Cosmetics or something? They make gels (http://www.salonskincare.co.uk/sbc?ref=6&gclid=CPH3m5Pb0ZYCFQOx1AodBhhV3Q) - I used to buy their arnica gel for bruises and the aloe vera for sunburn (because you can keep them in the fridge they seem to work better than the creams) then I got hooked on the massive size collagen gel for my eyes and now I've tried everything, lol.

It's a shame you won't be here a little longer, or I'd take you to DSW- a discount shoe place that carries all the major brands (including couture) at ridiculous prices. "Ridiculous" meaning "low". But don't let not having the proper shoes stop you- did you read about the high school volleyball team who showed up to the White House to meet Bush wearing rubber thongs? Yikes. HELL IN A HANDBASKET, I TELL YOU!

I love gels. I had a moisturizing gel from a company called H2O that has since gone defunct and I used it so sparingly that I made a sample last for 3 years! It was gorgeous stuff. Does SBC ship to the States? 15 pounds for SHIPPING?! On an 8 pound item??? ARGH! DX<

*sigh* I need a black marketing contact or a mule. Feeling mule-ish? More importantly, why do I not have a proper OMGWTFBBQ? icon? Where can I find one? WHY IS THIS TRAINING SO AWFUL???
