Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, my little Jack'o'lanterns!

Yes, I said I wouldn't- but it's been a long week and today will be a long day, and I need you guys.
I need tricks and treats. GIMME!

I was going to put a sign on my door that said "NO CANDY HERE!" (because I'm going out tonight instead) but then I heard on the news that local police departments are asking registered sex offenders to do the same thing. Um, okay, so... yeah. Not doing that then. O.o Tonight is a big thing is Georgetown. I'm a bit sorry to be missing it, but at the same time, Rob and I are going out for dinner and seeing "Rocknrolla", which got decent reviews and with the weekend ahead I'm quite excited about going chill. Or I'm just all hopped up on the first (decaf) latte I've had in months (Pumpking Spice FTW!).
Hope your day isn't too scary!

Happy Halloween!!

Oooh, tell me if it's any good because it looks amazing (not that it'll ever show here in the bowels of Alabama).

My day shall no doubt be as long as yours, but since I started watching "Lost in Austen" (which is amazing) I at least have a new place to escape to once the madness subsides.

I shall! I'm quite looking forward to it- Guy Ritchie is one of the few directors I "get" and I've missed him ever since he became Mr. Madonna. Hopefully he'll be more active in the industry when that goes "pfft". :p

I have got to check out this show!

I'd go see it for Gerard Butler, but if there's a good story going on then that's all the better. :)

You do! Modern British woman gets stuck in "Pride and Prejudice" and proceeds to muck things up royally. It's perfect. Even has Jemima Rooper in it. I love that woman.

WANTS.

Agh. Do I have to get Netflix to see this or can I find it online somewhere?

I downloaded it from BitTorrent, but I don't recall if you're ok with torrents or not. So far I haven't been able to find it online elsewhere, though there may be a community on here somewhere with the episodes posted for downloading. I'll have a look around and see what I can find.

I remember you were going to help me figure it out. Or someone was. Might have time to look it over tomorrow, but maybe I'll try and catch you next week in the evening at some point instead. Or I could just have a go at it myself. I get nervous about new programs, though, and my harddrive is nearly full.

The show sounds interesting, though, so I guess I'll have to risk it! ;)

I'll do a tutorial for you complete with screen shots if you'd like. It took me a while to be alright with torrent software, too, but if you know what to look for then you should be fine. Also, decent anti-virus software is nice as backup.

It is. I watched the second episode this morning (I believe there are only four in all so it's a bit of a miniseries) and I seriously considered blowing off work so I could watch the other two. It's that good. :)

A tutorial would rock, thanks. :)

No problem. I don't know if I'll be able to get it done this weekend, but I'll put it together as soon as I can.

No rush. I'm grateful for the offer. :)
