That's what gets me. I know that in some ways I'm hopelessly stodgy and silly and old lady-ish, but I refuse to be the kind of person who would do that to someone else.

I am, by no means perfect, but I can say without hesitation that I would have left my number and sucked it up if they'd called. I wish I didn't feel like a naive twat for expecting everyone else to do the same.
