Bold mine. jadeddiva  posted this a few weeks ago, and I took my sweet time responding and then didn't want to do it but then I felt like a massive tool for not playing along, especially since I hate when folks can't play along when there are memes, so here goes. And I added that stuff because I need to get rid of some icons and can't decide which ones. Halp? and what can I say, I'm slow. Ah well. I got rid of 8 icons, so if you can recommend any comms I should check out for new ones, do so in the comments. And let me know if you want to play and I'll pick your icons after work. :)




1.) I like crossovers- This is a shot of Zachary Quinto taken by Andrew Eccles (I think) and I was looking at it moments after my first viewing of "Kung-fu Panda" and could just HEAR Po in my head. Besides which, despite what those evil Con minions tell you- there IS no charge for awesomeness... or attractiveness. You can get it for free. ;)



2.) I love to bake. It calms me. I also love that ol' British reserve. It makes me nervous. Like Tom Cruise does.



3.) I can just HEAR Gia Carides in this scene in "Strictly Ballroom". LOVE. IT. Quintessential drama queen moment.



4.) Another crossover- "Scrubs" quote mashed with a scene from "Burn Notice" in which Trisha Helfer is harassing Jeffrey Donovan. The quote sounds like something his character would say to hers. It's love, I tell you.



4.) A Tweet from benchilada made into a slick icon, at my request, by suzyx (who is one of my fave makers- hopefully she'll come back from hiatus soon, because she rocks). I used to love my sister's My Lil' Pony toys. *sigh*



5.) Made for me by _puchula_ . I don't know why she thought I'd like that color, but it's the best icon for when you see TEH LLAMA COMING! AND THEY DO. A LOT.

Speaking of which, I was in the wilds of PA this weekend and saw a sign for a llama farm, and my first thought was "I NEED TO TELL MY FLIST" followed by, "I WONDER IF THEY CARRY DRAMA LLAMAS?". *lol*

 

Subject is from the Nu!Trek script- Scotty's entrance. Scotty!Pegg is awesome with his Keenser and his hat and his love of sammiches and towels and such... is it really 12:30? DAMMIT.

I looked at your icons when you asked for suggestions of ones that you could get rid of, but the ones I would have picked were ones that someone made for you, and I didn't want to offend anyone by suggesting that you get rid of their work of art. :)

You have a lot of great icons that express your emotions very well.

The movie festival in Telluride would have been awesome.

Darnit, Sue, offend away! I'm trying to clean out my icon closet and holding back doesn't help me! Truth be told, there are quite a few that were gifts or whatever that I really like but just don't use and if your opinion jibes with mine it will make it that much easier for me to kick 'em to the Recycling Bin. OPINE AWAY, PLZ.

Thanks! (That was a compliment, right? Lately I'm a bit dense with these things...) Like the Eskimos I have a hundred expressions of distress and another hundred for happiness, which I guess fits the crazy I'm feeling of late. But whatever. It's all good.

Telluride is on my list. I hope Sundance works out again- that would be amazing. :)

And thanks again. I'm a little confused today- had an exchange on another site with someone who saw Billie and read a comment I made and didn't realize I was being silly. Funny thing is that I couldn't figure out if they were really bent about it. So we went back and forth for a bit and it made me realize that there's always going to be SOMEONE around who won't read you right. Good thing we have friends lists, right?

Compliments are good. I'll take 'em. :)

I think my fave out of those is the cupcake one; I really want to get on of those Keep Calm and Carry On posters, I just love them.
