I totally watched The Tick.

And have it on DVD.

Both the cartoon and the live action version.

Didn't own, but watched both animated and LA versions as well.

And I've been to a SciFi con, an Anime con and a Comic Con.

I saw Edward James Olamos and Aaron Dougles from BSG at Toronto Comic Con last year. It was very exciting and I squealed girlishly.

Man, I only ever remember getting googly over authors and musicians at those things. A friend of a friend was performing at Bosticon a few years ago when I was in grad school at Emerson and we got to hang out- he got me in for free. The filking was nuts, but drum circles are... no, they scare me too.
