Confession time.

So it seems that because of the single tracking the trains are insanely busy, so I'm finishing up a few things and then sitting for a bit. I confess: I'm... not working that hard at the moment.
Filling came out of my top left wisdom tooth the other night. No hurt-y. Yet. I want the damn thing out, though, preferably before LA, so I'm going to be on the phone next week getting that sorted. Ugh. I confess: I have a manicurist and a hairdresser, but no dentist.
Reese Witherspoon was filming last night, and speculation is that she'll be around again this evening (we have a memo stating same in our Outlook boxes) so I'll probably be wandering down the block in a bit. I confess: I'm killing time in hopes of seeing her (but if she's not around right now I'm going home anyway- got a lot to do tonight at home).
New chargers are $30. Looking for the old one again. Maybe ordering a new phone online. Or a cheaper cord. I confess: I'm as sick of talking about this as you are of hearing it. (And I'm saving my money for a new external hard drive.)
Oh, and IT Guy is going to help me book my 'net package next week. Comcast is doing a $20 a month for 6 months thing ($43 after that) and I figure I'll just go for it. I confess: I hate not being online more than I hate not having cable. At least I can watch "Burn Notice" and "Royal Pains" without having to schlep to Patti and Bran's and wait for the kids to go to bed already.
And I should have the digital converter coupon soon. Which means some nice network tv at some point soonish. I confess: As much as I bitch about the Today show, I like watching it in the mornings.
Lots of "bulge" posts on ontd_trek lately. I confess: I... don't see anything postworthy about those bulges.
Have a great weekend! I'll miss you guys. :C

Date: 2009-06-27 02:26 am (UTC)I don't like to shop for phones, either, but I bet you can get a new one really cheap. Or maybe your plan provides free phones after a certain amount of time, like our Sprint plan gives us.
The IT guy's plan sounds good. He is so nice.
I would miss the internet more than cable, too, although I'm glad we get HBO and Showtime.

Date: 2009-06-29 12:15 pm (UTC)Actually, not ready for a new phone yet (Verizon does the "New Every Two (years)" thing also, but nothing really grabbed me this time around), so I just ordered a new charger. In the stores, the chargers run from $20-$30, but Ghina found one on Buy.com for $9. Hopefully it will be here soon. Xp
Yeah, it's good to be friends with geeks sometimes. :)
I would really love to have cable, but I simply can't manage it right now. Sucks, but honestly I like my new place enough that I'm just going to deal with it and be done. 'Sides- should get out more and watch less tv anyway!
Oh Hulu, it' s just you and me now...
