Started a fic journal on LJ. I must be mad. I plan on posting bits of "Dawn Breaks" (not Twilight, but the novel I'm working on about a vampire killer's sidekick), drabbles I've written, stuff that I want to expand on from Pulped Fictions, and whatever else strikes my fancy. Like maybe some *cringe* fan fic?

I saw Nadine's recs for ST slash and I've discover I'm not a Kirk/Bones 'shipper. I am, however, intrigued by the possibilities of Spock/Kirk mostly because of the "cultural differences" (and for Z-Pine, not Shatner/Nimoy) and of course I need to try my hand at one of those "Uhura explores her feelings for Spock and his growing relationship with Kirk"-deals. Because I'm predictable like that, sorry. ;p

And speaking of ST: evil trailer making... people! I just saw the trailer for Star Trek and they cut from a scene of Uhura pulling off her uniform with Kirk on top of "shadowy figure girl" (aka Gaila) and you're supposed to think that Kirk and Uhura got it on. Um... no. Xp

I'm home unwell today, trying to get stuff done, might bake some cookies and go for a walk. Gym at 5, happy hour for an old college friend at 6:30, home by 9 at the latest and in bed for another attempt at workplace excellence tomorrow. *sigh*

My new agent is amazing. I feel much, much better. The gal last week was a bit of a nutcase with a direction issue, and while shopping at Sephora I found some OPI called "Lost without my GPS" which almost made me choke on my gum. :)

"Boing fwip!" is a sort of "BOUNCE OFF ME, STICK TO YOU!" thing that was used a lot in "Scrubs". Something I'm working on with criticism.
