[Error: unknown template qotd] I know I'm supposed to play along nicely and pick a random song ("Break My Stride" by Mathew Wilder maybe?) and be done with it, but I respectfully state here and now that picking a single themesong is horseshit.

Instead, I'd like to be present in the Key of F- a little jingle up and down the scale to announce me will do nicely.

Why F, especially? F major at least, I hope. :)

*is already composing a jingle in her head*

F major you say? Give me some examples of pieces written in F major and I shall consider it.

Ooh, that's right! You could write me a bit of theme music, couldn't you? :D

Are you familiar with The Raveonettes? They used to pick one key per album and not deviate. I'm sure one of them was in F....

OOH! I fangirl them just on principle. Did they announce that they do this or are you just that much of a music geek? I'm impressed either way.

I think I read it in their press release and then thought, 'hmm, that's why it all sounds so samey. Genius!'.

Beethoven's 6th is famously in F. It's generally considered to be a very calm and gentle key area.

Excellent suggestion. I'll take it.

Eine Kleine Nachtmusik is also particularly tasty when I'm feeling spunkilicious.

Major is usually happy sounding and minor sadder, so you could change it depending on your mood!

I could probably pick a daily theme song. Today, for example, has been entirely sponsored by Gorecki's 3rd symphony. I'm hoping tomorrow might be a bit more Beach Boys.

So, no more "Hattie" eh? *snrk*

Daily I could do. Today would brought to you by "New Shoes" by Paolo Nuttini. That said, today is very Beach Boys- I wish I'd ridden my bike to work, in fact.

If you'd ridden a bike, though, naturally you would have gotten someone else to pedal you home, sat in the basket and sung 'Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head' a la Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

And yes, Hattie is on a break until I post a srs bsns comment somewhere and realise no-one will take me seriiusly with AroSheen sneezes special snowflakes as a name, lol.

That's true. And I just picked up a very nice Stetson at Hudson Trail, where they also installed a very spiffy basket on the ol' granny blaster. Can't let that go to waste. (Thanks for reminding me- I just put "The Sting" in my Amazon shopping cart and really should add "Butch" as well.)

Pfft. Your AroSheen brings all the boys to the yard! NEVER CHANGE IT.

Oddly, earlier while making dinner I found myself thinking, 'this chilli's going to be AroSheen...', which means the word has officially crossed over into the real world. Run for your life!

Butch Cassidy is one of my favourite films ever. I just love the 'I can't swim!', 'doesn't matter, the fall'll kill you' scene.

You think that's bad? I have sticky notes on the walls of my cube listing my passwords for my work computer and they are all based on you guys- "Lady B's fave actor", "Eumel's king", "Lindz's fave Twi-character". And now I have a new password for payroll for next month, I guess. *lol*

That's my favorite too! And there's "How come you're so talkative?" "Just blabby I guess."
