Overall it was a good episode as these shows go. Don't get me wrong, I have this weird thing for star crossed couples and the "love" story is sweet, BUT the conflict is THE THING- sadly, I think you're right and they'll probably whip through the series in no time. Which is only a shame because I liked the books, and the pacing, and would love to see it play out as close to how it was written as possible. Otherwise it will be boring- hot as Somerhalder is, I don't see myself tuning in week after week to see him spar with Wesley if there's nothing more than the brotherly love/hate thing going on.

"FlashForward" is good- they had a lot of ground to cover in the first episode and I think they did it well. The cast is up to it, hopefully the writers are to. This week is the test- the sophomore episode is always a toughie.
And me too! I am so tempted to keep this bottle, but giving it to someone else is almost more fun. Can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they unwrap it!
I just made a bunch of TVD icons over at my comm. Need to make a speshul one just for me to use here (by the time I've finished making a batch I'm a bit tired of what I've made and don't want any! *lol*).
