TD;LR: Everyone who matters is already a friend of mine on LJ (which I've paid for) and I just... eh. I like my layout here, and the new layout I picked out for
icontent (which hasn't been updated in months, to be fair) but so far nothing is really keeping me on this side of the intarwebz. I have an invite code for this comm nobody seems to want, which pretty much says it all right there as far as I'm concerned.
So,
christycorr - if you're on LJ, friend me over there too, willya, so I can shut this thing down for the time being until I figure out what I want to do with it?

(I'm currently in the process of buying a DSLR...once I move to a house with natural light in the kitchen, there will be foodie picspam! Maybe...)

Funny thing, my sister suggested I do the same! I'm thinking of getting a Canon EOS Rebel. You?

I'm not sure you need a better camera. Your pictures are pretty stunning already.
(My current digital camera has awesome telescopic zoom, but only 6 megapixel resolution...)

My camera has a whopping 4mpx and a tiny viewscreen compared to newer models. I'm okay with it, but I've heard great things about the EOS line and I'd love to start taking pictures a bit more seriously. We'll see- when I have the funds I will think about it a bit more. :)
