1.) And, just as soon as the trend caught steam, proof that it is coming to an end: "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead"? SRSLY?

*scampers off to read the copy of "P&P&Z" that her dad gave her for her birthday*

2.) Taylor Swift is Bella Swan in... FIRELIGHT (starts with a beer commercial, so lower the volume- trust me):

3.) Random, but I find it strange that the new Volvo ads featuring New Moon clips are all about the "understated elegance" and beauty of a Volvo, and features clips of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart cut to look like they are a romance for all time. Did they read the books? Rly? Because the books I read featured a weak-willed protagonist and her stalker-y boyfriend. Just sayin'.

Think Smeyer knew what she was doing when she first put the word "Volvo" in her books?

Have you heard about "Sense and Sensibility and Seamonsters"? Because I just learned of that one the other day.

Yeah, heard of that. IGNORING IT!

It's kind of an extension of this remake trend that's been annoying just about everyone for years.

*says the woman who is rewriting Twilight for NaNoWriMo* Xp

Sure. Can't promise anything though, other than it's working for me. ;)

Did you watch the parody? I cringed, then giggled like a crazy person. Of course, that could have been the residue of a giggly evening or lack of sleep.

LMFAO! That's about the funniest thing ever. My respect for Swift went up just a bit more. =D

Right? I actually broke down and watched one of her vids and kind of enjoyed it. She's easy to dismiss as fluff.

Ok, that was hilarious! I wouldn't have thought Swift could pull that off, actually.

It makes me want to watch Twilight for real now. ;)

If you're going to write, write "smart". She's a genius.

ZOMG! The kid is hilarious! I watched a bit of the show and she was actually pretty funny- her opening monologue, for example:

Yeah, I hate to admit it, but Smeyer is not a dumb bunny. You and me? Much as I hate to admit it? Totes need to take a page from her book... so to speak. ;)

Pretty decent attempt at comedy, I must say! Good for her...

I would totally have the characters in my NaNoWriMo novel eat Doritos and chug Diet Coke...if it wasn't set in the 1850s. *sigh*

I'm behind on my NaNo stuff, btw. Hoping to get all caught up tonight.

INORITE? Hard to dislike the girl for bringing the funny- her Kate Gosselin isn't bad either.

Random, but check this out:

Have some Diet Coke? ;)

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I like Taylor Swift...

Maybe so, but I don't think you're in the minority on THIS thread.
