Dear Nicholas Sparks,

Thank you for making me cry with your stupid book that was made into a ridiculously romantic and wonderful movie.

I hate you,

Lill.

PS Death to ABC Family for running it end to end on a frickin' Sunday night.

Thank gawd for Jeff Dunham.

Me too. I'd wish for him to DSIAF, but I'm afraid he would and someone would find this entry and I'd be toast. Xp

Haven't read it. But if it's anything like his other books I'd hate it, so why bother. Xp

Schmaltz makes me hurt.

I should better explain, I kinda liked the concept of the book, it was the way it was written that I didn't like. Basically it spent no time really building the story and over half the book talking about...
Spoiler:
... the day to day in the retirement community. And not even the good sad part of her condition and whatnot.

I still don't understand why I read the book. Like I wanted to use the title on something and was pissed that it was taken... but someone said I reminded them of Noah, so I guess I was curious at what she had meant by that, but after reading it, I ended up much more confused. lol... ah well...

At least it is a short book that you can get through relatively quickly if you do choose to read it.

I really don't believe that. Unless these are all guys who want girlfriends and are just saying that to seem sensitive.

Nice icon. Fringe?

I didn't really like The Notebook; there are so many other romantic movies I'd rather see. The only parts I liked in it were James Marsden's. He is a god.

I second your thankfulness for Jeff Dunham. SILENCE, I KILL YOU! :}

EEEE! It's starting AGAIN! XD

I love this guy. When they announced he was doing a show in DC I made the mistake of calling my father (who also likes him) to see if he and Mom wanted to see Dunham's show and they took so long making up their mind the damn thing sold out. I KEEL THEM! XP

I KNOW! THEY ARE JUST SO SWEET! Ryan Gosling was so, so good, but James Garner! Omg! *cries*

My grandfather was a very smart man who succumbed to senile dementia and had lucid moments and it broke my grandmother's heart. I think if she could have, she could have died with him, but she lived a few years without him. She was so strong.

The story of how my grandparents met is ridiculously sweet as well. :)

I read "Message in a Bottle" and that was enough Nicholas Sparks for me. My sister gave me a second Nicholas Sparks book and I couldn't get past the first chapter.

I've never seen the movie "The Notebook".

I've read "The Walk" and the one about the firefighter... or was that last a Baldacci? No idea. I hated myself both times, but I always figure it's better to know thine enemy when it comes to vomit-inducing literature. Hell, I managed to get through Twilight, right?

The movie is only good if you are all cuddled up, your husband sedated so that he doesn't run the risk of either embarrassing himself by tearing up or giving up in disgust and pissing you off. You should have tissues, a pot of tea, chocolate, and when it's over do NOT ASK YOUR SIG OTH IF HE LOVES YOU AS MUCH AS NOAH LOVE ALI. Because that ways lie monsters. Trust me. Xp
