I KNOW! THEY ARE JUST SO SWEET! Ryan Gosling was so, so good, but James Garner! Omg! *cries*

My grandfather was a very smart man who succumbed to senile dementia and had lucid moments and it broke my grandmother's heart. I think if she could have, she could have died with him, but she lived a few years without him. She was so strong.

The story of how my grandparents met is ridiculously sweet as well. :)

That scene in the nursing home kills me... When they're dancing and she blanks out again, and he breaks down... I'm going to cry just by remembering it!

The very end is what really did it for me. I also really liked the bit where Noah is calling Ali on her behavior- "You call me an arrogant bastard and I tell you you're being a pain in the ass and then you have a rebound time of about 2 seconds before you're off doing the next pain in the ass thing". So much awesome. Because that's the truth- two people can fight and fight and still work as a couple if they learn to forgive each other and now I'm starting to annoy myself. Must go gargle acid now. XP
