Dear Nicholas Sparks,

Thank you for making me cry with your stupid book that was made into a ridiculously romantic and wonderful movie.

I hate you,

Lill.

PS Death to ABC Family for running it end to end on a frickin' Sunday night.

Thank gawd for Jeff Dunham.

I read "Message in a Bottle" and that was enough Nicholas Sparks for me. My sister gave me a second Nicholas Sparks book and I couldn't get past the first chapter.

I've never seen the movie "The Notebook".

I've read "The Walk" and the one about the firefighter... or was that last a Baldacci? No idea. I hated myself both times, but I always figure it's better to know thine enemy when it comes to vomit-inducing literature. Hell, I managed to get through Twilight, right?

The movie is only good if you are all cuddled up, your husband sedated so that he doesn't run the risk of either embarrassing himself by tearing up or giving up in disgust and pissing you off. You should have tissues, a pot of tea, chocolate, and when it's over do NOT ASK YOUR SIG OTH IF HE LOVES YOU AS MUCH AS NOAH LOVE ALI. Because that ways lie monsters. Trust me. Xp

I wouldn't watch a tear jerker with my husband. He would make noises of disgust throughout the movie and spoil the atmosphere.

That's pretty much the domain of the spouse. My mother loves "the Biggest Loser" and "Dancing with the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance" and Dad spends most of the time grumbling about how stupid they are. But he watches with her anyway, because he just loves being with her. :)

Okay, now I'm making myself tear up...

I wanted to watch Trueblood on HBO so that I could figure out what all this SVN stuff was about. So I told him that people said it was surprisingly sexy. It worked. *lol*

That is nice that your father will watch your mom's shows. Awww!
